District Bucks can be used to purchase anything being sold on the District Store. This includes TI merchandise ranging from such membership building & member recognition items as guest packets, ribbons, pins, certificates, and awards.
Author Alcove titles are available on the District Store along with meeting supplies, promotional items and other items that help the club’s mission.
Purchase a members event registration on the District Store and pay for that with District Bucks.

Spend Bucks on Club Expenses via Concur
Using Concur, District Bucks gives Clubs the ability to make purchases without using clubs’ membership revenue funds. Clubs can use District Bucks to cover Concur reported expenses such as:
Meeting equipment (projectors, microphones, cameras, speakers)
Club administration (storage totes, postage, TI discounted zoom accounts, space rental fees)
Marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
Food and guest packets for open houses and celebration events.
Food/supplies for club contests or to support area/division contests

Are there any restrictions on what we can cover with District Bucks?
You cannot use District Bucks for items restricted by TI Policy/Protocol such as alcohol, non TI gift cards, non TI personal items, clothing, District Store Inventory, or Toastmasters International logo not purchased from the TI store.
Do Club Bucks have an Expiration Date
Like TI Gift Certificates, District Bucks are supposed to have an expiration date. For accounting reasons, the bucks expiration date should be the end of the TI program year, except for those bucks earned in the last two months of the program year. The club would have til 9/30 to spend those bucks. The District has not yet started enforcing an expiration date.
What if there are not enough District Bucks in the account to cover the full expense.
The District reimburses concur expense reports up to the amount in the District account. If ordering through the District store, the balance can be paid with any of the other payment options.
Can members earn District Bucks?
Yes, the District may set up member based incentive programs and members receive District Bucks. Members can use their District Bucks to purchase items through the District Store or pay for event registration. Clubs can set up incentive programs for their members using their club funds and award District Bucks. Members may also submit concur expenses. It is recommended the District Finance Manger review the expense request prior to submitting a concur expense report.

Why is a receipt required when submitting Concur expenses?
Per Toastmasters Policy, all concur expenses, including those covered by District Bucks, require receipts. Documentation of expenses allows Toastmasters International, and by extension our Toastmasters clubs, to maintain its nonprofit, tax-exempt status.
How do Club Officers get a District concur expense account?
In Aug of the new program year, the District requests accounts for club Treasurers who do not already have a Toastmasters concur account. Club officers submits request for an account to the District Finance Manager, fmgr@d217toastmasterrs.org. Please allow 2-3 week for account access.
Is training available on how to use Concur to submit Club expenses for District Bucks reimbursement?
